Here's a quick summary of who I am and what I do


Olga Barashihina was born in Latvia and moved to New York in 2003. She is an International Ballroom and Latin DanceSport competitor, coach, and adjudicator.

She was 1998 and 1999 World Cup International Latin finalist, 2000 Latvian International Latin Champion; 2002 Czech International Latin Vice-Champion; 2004 U.S. American Ballroom Grand Finalist; 2005 Emerald Ball Showdance Winner; and American Smooth World Championship Finalist.

In 2008 Olga was a finalist in the American Rhythm Rising Star division of the Ohio Star Ball, telecast as America’s Ballroom Challenge. She received the Fred Astaire national Freddy award for Top Female Teacher in 2010-2012 and 3rd Place Top Female Teacher in 2015 and 2016.

Olga has also modeled in Avant Garde magazine and has been an internationally ranked 10K marathoner.
